The Thai Liver Society was established since August 17, 2006 by the active group of hepatologists. The objective of our society is to improve the knowledge and care to the Thai liver patients, also the official representative of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL).
And this year (2011) we rename from Liver Society (Thailand) to be Thai Association for the Study of the Liver (THASL).
